The Repair Process explained

It can be a nightmare for you as a driver when you are involved in a collision, so we try to make the process as simple as possible.  We handle all the professional assessment, documentation and liasion with Insurance Companies, authorisation process and quality repairs, right through to your vehicle being returned to you in a completely as-new condition.

Our close relationship with most of the large Insurance Companies, our stringent Quality procedures, our specialised workshops and our Computerised Management Systems ensure that all documentation is correct, all parts are correct and all bodywork is matched exactly.  Following the strict guidelines, our fully trained staff offer consistency that is not available from less-qualified, less-approved companies.

The Repair Process itself

Courtesy Car Provision from Larne CoachworksIntially, once contact is made with us, our professional Vehicle Damage Assessors (VDA's) assess if your vehicle is driving or not.  If not, we can offer a full 24-hour Recovery Service and a Courtesy Car.

If your vehicle is driving, it can be brought to our workshops and we will provide our assessment there.

Estimates/Examination

Once we receive Insurance Company notification or the vehicle is brought in for estimate, we can proceed with the assessment by our VDA's.

An initial, fully itemised, computerised estimate is produced, with images.

This is then forwarded directly to the insurance company (or customer if it is a private repair).

Authorisation and Commencement

Once we receive authorisation to commence from your Insurance Company (or private customer), we can book the vehicle in for repairs, via our computerised repair management system.

Original vehicle parts are ordered and any preparatory work is commenced in our specialised workshops.

Quality Control

Stringent Quality ControlWe have stringent Quality Control procedures throughout each stage of repair, managed by our authorised computer management systems.

We retain full contact with Insurance Companies and End Customers throughout.

Returning your vehicle

All repairs are guaranteed and all vehicles are professionally cleaned prior to being returned.

We will contact you to advise when your vehicle will be ready for collection/return.
